Pork Souvlaki is a traditional Greek dish consisting of marinated pieces of pork grilled on skewers until tender and flavorful. 2-3 lb. pork roast
3 lemons
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, grated
1 bay leaf, crumbled
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1/4 cup white wine
1 tablespoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cut pork roast into large 2-bite-sized pieces and add to a gallon-sized ziplock bag.
Add the juice of 2 lemons (set the other aside).
Add the remaining ingredients.
Marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
Skewer the pork to make kebabs.
Cook over a hot grill.
Remove pork from skewers and add to a serving dish.
Squeeze the juice of the remaining lemon over top.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
